Goo Goo Dolls join Def Leppard and The Struts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California, on May 1, 2027, for a Concerts event in the Pop / rock category. The group, formed in Buffalo in 1986, grew from punk and alternative roots into one of pop rock's most enduring bands, led by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist and vocalist Robby Takac.
The band's breakthrough album, Dizzy Up the Girl (1998), delivered enduring favorites including “Iris,” “Slide” and “Black Balloon.” “Iris” became a signature song and a defining singalong for generations of fans. The Goo Goo Dolls have continued recording, with their 2022 album Chaos in Bloom adding newer material to a catalog that also includes “Name,” “Here Is Gone” and “Big Machine.”
This date is billed as Def Leppard, Goo Goo Dolls & The Struts, with The Struts and Def Leppard on the lineup. The provided event information does not specify a tour name or set times. Fans can expect a shared bill spanning melodic rock and arena-ready songs, with the Goo Goo Dolls' emotional songwriting adding a nostalgic thread to the evening. The Hollywood Bowl's open-air setting in the Hollywood Hills gives the Los Angeles show a distinctly scenic backdrop.
Prices currently start around $120 for this major concert, with seats and availability affecting the final price.
The Hollywood Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater with a curved layout, hillside setting and iconic band shell. Its capacity is approximately 17,500, and seating is arranged for live performances rather than sports. Consider the venue's outdoor conditions, hillside paths and walking distances when choosing seats and planning arrival.
For a premium view and comfortable setting, look for centered Garden Boxes or Terrace Boxes. Center Super Seats can offer a useful balance of stage visibility and price. Upper Promenade and bench seating delivers the classic Bowl atmosphere at a more accessible price, though it is farther from the performers; far-rear or extreme-side seats may be less suitable for fans prioritizing close stage detail.
Hollywood Bowl parking is limited, often stacked and may sell out in advance. Park & Ride, Bowl Shuttle, Metro or rideshare can be more practical than driving directly to the venue. Allow extra time: the venue recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before the performance.
On-site lots can be a poor fit for anyone needing a quick departure, and parking in nearby residential areas risks costly tickets. Check current event-specific parking and shuttle arrangements before setting out.
